About Us
We are the first Czech school of kiting. We are operational from 1991 under brand PEGAS in wide scope of terrains and countries.
We started in Rügen, Germany, where the first kitesurfing courses were organized under the baton of the founder Honza Šebesta. We soon started to discover new kite spots and have had successful trips to Cyprus, the south of France, the island of Fuerteventura, Brazil or Morocco. We organized snowkiting courses on the Czech hills and plains, trips to Slovakia’s Martinské hole or Norway’s Hargandervid. Nowadays we are active in unique snowkite spot in Georgia.
Although we fell in love with Georgia, unfortunately it also brought us a great loss. This year we lost our founder and dear friend Honza. Honza was an adventurer brimming with life energy, which he was able to pass on to the people around him. He had a huge heart and empathy, thanks to which he was able to awaken enthusiasm, strength and the desire to develop in people. Thanks to him, many of us achieved more than we ever expected from ourselves and he quickly became a very close friend. Although his zeal proved fatal, we would like to celebrate his life by continuing his legacy. We firmly believe that everything that Honza has put into us over the years, we can carry on and bring it to you.
Kiting remains in our hearts and we will be happy if you fall in love with it too. In addition to the unforgettable experiences that kiting brings, you will also experience a friendly environment with us. On our course or trip, you have the opportunity to become part of a community with which you can further develop, participate in other events and find new friends. In other words, as Honza used to say, kiting doesn’t end with the course, that’s just the beginning.

Oli and Honza experienced ten fulfilled years, when together they started courses in Rügen and discovered most of the spots where trips were organized and where courses were held. In the beginning, she belonged to the team of instructors, today she patronizes the association, its equipment and financial background. She will be available to you during individual on-site events, when solving current problems or special needs.

Barbora Kabátová
She got into kiting at a young age and it was her archival gear that one day brought her to the doorstep of Pegas. She became an instructor in 2018 after successfully conquering September’s rainy and cold Rügen. It was thanks to Pegass that she learned a lot (not only in kiting, but also in life), and today she is here for you as an instructor on the water and on the snow.

Ondřej Boroš
It was Ondra who arrived in Rügen together with Bára in 2018, and thanks to his natural talent, he soon became an excellent kiter and a member of the Pegas team. Ondra primarily provides technical support, as well as organization and supervision on the spot, on the water and on the snow. He will be our new guide on memorable downwinds and trips across the snow plains.

Petr Šlapal
Petr is the founder of the Pegas company. He got into kiting through many years of paragliding. Since 1991, he has been experimenting with the development of his own chamber kites, maybe you once met him on the Czech hills struggling with his first prototypes back in a day. These days it is already possible to buy tuned chamber kites of the Pegas brand. He also repairs kite equipment and is able to help you with the selection and possible purchase of new equipment. Outside the store, you can meet him, for example, at a children’s camp or on winter trips.
